i bet a lot of these players have been playing baseball since they were kids. that’s probably a big reason why they’re so good. if you learn this kind of stuff when you’re young it gives you a big head start

this google AI ad implies only AI from google could calculate how many batters tapped home plate & what their result was when I guarantee that even IF "AI" was used to do that the amount of time spent training the system to recognize bat taps was way more than if someone just watched every at bat
