playing like a dragon and it is a bit surreal. the mall where I had my first job is an escape room.

watching the dynamics of my book play out in the worst possible way on an academic listserv for over 24 hours is horrific.

they are moving me to a biosimilar but it uses the same protein so I am hoping it is a smooth transition.

I've requested a vacation day to play like a dragon... because self-care is important and I am planning on focusing on mascot yakuza animal crossing.

currently knitting a weird thing until the next like a dragon game comes out. I don’t know how to describe it but it will be my ugly scarf. 🧶

Knitting wisdom 🙃🧶
Knitting and crocheting are both great ways to keep your hands from going around the throats of people in need of an early grave. And you get socks as an added bonus.

Today, because of the weather, I am having my first work from home day in my new role. Which means i set up my work from home space and now I am sad I am not hybrid because today has been very convenient and I like my wfh setup more than my office setup. For starters, the temperature is comfortable.

I desperately need today to be over already.

(I woke up at 1:30AM)

Well. I fell in love with the thing I was knitting so my lacey scarf that makes me laugh is done many weeks ahead of schedule. Just need to bind off, clean up, and block it. 🧶

My eyes have been bad again for the past few weeks and I am over it.

I cannot put into words how perfectly bad this movie was. I cannot recommend anyone watch it, but if the description speaks to you, you may want to.
watching The Killing Tree: On Christmas Eve, a scorned widow casts an ancient spell to resurrect her executed husband. However, when the spell goes wrong, the husband is brought back as an evil Christmas tree, hell-bent on getting revenge on the one who caused his execution.

I’ve cast on a new project that will take probably forever to knit so hopefully it will last for the month I am waiting for the new Like a Dragon to come out. 🧶

I made my own reversible hat (mine is all gradient yarn) with my replacement needles. Material really changes the speed of things. 🧶
December 25, 2023 at 3:30 PM
Finished last night. I kept dropping stitches. The hat was knit twice because I didn't measure the gauge the first time. In the process of making this hat I broke a needle cable & learned I lost my magic loop needles in the move somehow. They've been replaced but arrived late. A mess but it's done 🧶

in my dream last night we were given a ton of food and there were lots of radishes. Someone announced that they didn't like radishes so I went on a monologue about why I love them and then I got all the radishes. It made me very happy. Then I woke up and there were no radishes at home.

I am doing a compliance training and in addition to having a module on empathy, they have a thing about showing staff appreciation based on the love languages crap and I think it is too late in the day for me to continue with this and get to sleep tonight. WTF!?

One of the things I want folks to understand about the billionaires who forced the Penn pres to resign is they started all this before Oct 7 and among their complaints is that Penn “prioritizes DEI” is “too social justice focused” and is “unrecognizable” to what it looked like when they attended.
