This is a movie that lives and dies in its subtleties. It's very elegant and the acting is great, with a very strong first half and a less-strong second half. 7/10

Man...This movie's very long. Very pretty, good visuals, but I didn't find it engaging despite how hard it tried.

Very solid, very sad, and kind of exhausting towards the end. Feels like a concept for a documentary short, but it's mostly due to the pacing than the subject matter. 7/10

Comic-Con did not respond to 404 Media’s request for comment, but Oreglia said she did hear back from art show organizer Glen Wooten. “He basically told me that they put those AI stipulations in when AI was just starting to come around and that the inability to sell AI-generated works was meant to curtail people from submitting genAI works,” she said. “He seems to be very against genAI but wasn't really able to change the current policy until artists voiced their opinions loudly which pressured the office into banning AI completely.”

It's a fairly solid show, being held together by the very likeable characters and the excellent acting.

The structure gets a bit predictable, though. 7/10

I wanted to try a different approach to inking, so here's a quick sketch and ink of my Chiran character, Teya Emara.

Main point of reference for this is the artist Abara Heiki.

I'm really afraid of breaking lines, So this was a good exercise in trying to do that, at least a little bit.
