How many civilians are normally killed during an arrest operation?
STEPHANOPOULOS: Why wasn't congressional authorization necessary?

RUBIO: It wasn't necessary because this was not an invasion. We didn't occupy a country. This was an arrest operation.

To all of you who thought, "What could go wrong electing a stupid, immature, vulgar, child rapist with advanced dementia and no impulse control as our president?":

I don't like to say, "I told you so," but I'm willing to enthusiastically make an exception.

If you’ve ever wondered what our U.S. service members would do when given an illegal order…now…you know. They all followed it.

Starmer and Farage both drape themselves in flags but once again it's really clear where their loyalty really is.

It's Trump first. They will always be on the side of the super rich and powerful - no matter how heinous the crime.

This is not patriotism. It's subservience.

Happening now: several hundred people are pouring into Chicago's downtown Federal Plaza.

It's 25 degrees outside.

Organizers are leading the crowd in a chant of, "no boots on the ground, no bombs in the air!"

Two protesters hold a large banner reading, "no war for Venezuela oil."

Somebody better impeach, convict, and remove this motherfucker before he gets a bunch of people killed.

In the meantime, he should show his commitment to the righteousness of his cause by publicly shaming his children and those of his co-conspirators into signing up to serve in the occupation.
Trump: "I think Cuba is gonna be something we'll end up talking about, because Cuba is a failing nation. It's very similar"

This is going to end well. 🙄 This senile fat fuck can’t even run THIS country.
Trump on Venezuela: "We're going to run the country until such time as we can do a safe, proper, and judicious transition"

In case anyone was wondering what an amoral child rapist would do to distract people from the truth, the answer is: anything. The specifics are merely a function of status and power.

Yeah, that annoying fucking Constitution, amirite?
Trump on Democrats: "They should say 'great job.' They shouldn't say, 'Oh gee, maybe it's not constitutional.' You know, the same old stuff that we've been hearing for years and years and years."

Relieved?
Thought experiment: What if another country entered the US, dropped “explosions”, abducted Trump & Melania, & called it “drug-related law enforcement”?Trump has been pardoning high-profile drug traffickers like it’s his job, & US guns heavily arm cartels. How would we feel today?

Just woke up even angrier. Impeach, convict, remove. Draft articles now. Either we have a representative government or we don’t. Do not shut up about this until there’s a vote.

I find "America isn't really set up for it" to be an annoying rebuttal to any sort of proposal to reduce car dependency. Our leaders used policy to create a system of car dependency and we can sure as hell use policy to undo that. There are absolutely barriers, but do nothing is not a solution.

After Donald has left the stage, I hope Republicans experience a metaphorical 'forty years wandering the desert' in search of their next titular leader. Maybe we can undo the damage caused by Donald and his minions and restore (and reinforce) the guardrails to keep another like him from rising.
