I remember when extortion was against the law and extortionists feared prison terms. Ah, those were the days.

To be the dumbest president in U.S. history is no small thing, but Trump is making a good case to be included among the most stupid political leaders in all of human history. May he be removed now, I don't care how. He is an enemy combatant and should be treated as such.
Looks like we’re going to war.

I didn’t vote for this, did you?

Trump said today he'll be pardoning former Honduran President Juan Hernandez, who was convicted of drug trafficking and weapons charges in 2024 and sentenced to 45 years in prison.

Waging a drug war on Venezuela while pardoning a narco-terrorist takes hypocrisy to a level once thought impossible.

Rejuvenation will come when Stephen Miller, his idiot boss, and the unrepentant leaders of this evil regime are driven out of public life, imprisoned, or in the ground. America can't be great or a force for good while it's afflicted with the rot of fascism. May they face swift and terrible #justice.
AMERICANS DO NOT WANT TO ETHNICALLY CLEANSE THE NONWHITE POPULATION. Only a tiny cabal of dedicated white supremacists led by Stephen Miller wants that.

But Americans are being lied to by their cowed, billionaire-controlled media about what their government wants.
America’s civic institutions have to address the full monstrosity of this. So too do democratic governments elsewhere in the world. It’s not happening. It’s being allowed to pass - so as not to rock the boat. Rock the boat, guys, rock it hard, rock it now.

We must speak the truth, even if it is disturbing and ugly. The truth is that Trumpers don't deserve suffrage. Committing or condoning treason should have consequences even for the most ordinary voters. They all know the nature of what they're doing by now. There are no more plausible excuses.

A sad irony in Washington, D.C., where West Virginia National Guardsmen were shot today. Six days ago, a court ruled their deployment was illegal, but stayed the order pending appeal. My heart goes out to these public servants and their families. oag.dc.gov/sites/defaul...

Every time I see a national high-speed rail map, I’m reminded how far behind the U.S. really is. We could replace short flights, cut emissions, and make travel actually pleasant. Sustainable transportation shouldn’t be a dream; it should be the plan.

End of the road for the last pending criminal prosecution against Trump. The Fani Willis intitiated Fulton County prosecution assigned to a new prosecutor, after Willis ordered off case, and he filed a motion of dismissal that the court accepted this morning. I'll be posting a longer Youtube on it.

I thought the Fani Willis Case was probably irreversibly screwed up. I wanted to be wrong. As a prosecutor, you just can't do edgy things on high-profile cases without it somehow helping the defendant. This is how the guilty go free. Play it straight and let the chips fall where they may. #RuleOfLaw

"I’d rather my house not get firebombed."

The #Indiana State Senate Republicans are fixing to capitulate to Trump on #gerrymandering / #redistricting out of fear of LITERAL TERRORISM.

That's the Trump-MAGA-GOP message: do what Trump says or your home & family might get LITERALLY FIREBOMBED.
On Monday, I spoke with a GOP Indiana legislator who opposes Trump's redistricting push. He asked that I not publish his name. His fear isn't political—he's not running for reelection. It's safety. My piece on the intimidation campaign in Indiana:

For the uninitiated, I point out that it isn't THE Church that is silent or complicit, but is instead those denominations, specific congregations, and individuals that are either doing evil with Trump's régime or are too cowardly to boldly speak against it. Red or Blue location is a primary factor.
I believe history will one day scrutinize the church’s silence or complicity in the face of I.C.E.’s cruelty, racism, and state-sanctioned terror in the United States just as it has judged the church’s response to Nazism in 1930's Germany.

To follow Christ is to resist I.C.E.
