Libertarianism has always been more or less "F--- You Got Mine": The Sociopolitical/Economic Stance, so it doesn't surprise me much that as long as Trump is letting them keep having "mine", they don't care if you no longer get to have "yours".
I would read multiple books on how the vast majority of libertarians sided with Trump. Personally, I think it's exhibit #1 in favor of the "politics became ideology" theory.
