Runner, nerd, odd taste in music, easily distracted by cats. He/him. Bisexual.
Having watched seemingly all of Glen Powell's filmography (apart from the plane film) over the Christmas break after my wife developed a strenuously-denied crush on him, I'm getting my own back by making us start a Charlotte Ritchie series.

The Dickin Medal is the highest award that can be issued to animals in British military service. Bearing the words "We Also Serve" it has been awarded 75 times since its creation in 1943.

Only one cat has ever received the award.

This is the story of Able Seacat Simon, of HMS Amethyst. 🧵 1/25

Please share this with anyone you know who still uses LiveJournal. It could collapse next week; it could last another two years. I think "next week" is probably too fast and "two years" is probably pushing it, a lot; that's my only prediction.

Did not expect to find a memorial to a cameo character from some of self-published romance maven D'Ancey LaGuarde's novels on my trip, but it was lovely to see! @alicefraser.bsky.social

With Bardot's passing, the only named individuals in Billy Joel's We Didn't Start The Fire that are still alive are Bob Dylan, Chubby Checker, and Bernie Goetz. The last one standing will claim The Prize.

I'm gonna get my Zoey Deutsch rom-com rewatch in this Christmas break no matter what
We are now on our second Glen Powell movie of this Christmas break and all I can pray for is that this doesn't escalate to watching Top Gun.
I honestly don't know how to feel about the fact that the Glenn Powell SNL episode is the season's peak so far by a mile (an admittedly very very lackluster season).
