Here I am with Reform councillor Andrew Harrison, who was one of a group of people fined over £1m for employing illegal workers. Like all good patriots, he hates immigrants, apart from the ones he can exploit for profit.

This story more than any other disgusts me.

Yinka was a little 9 year old boy

Farage was a swaggering bully aged 17

We all knew those bullies at school and in this case teenager Farage was a racist bully too
Yinka Bankole was 12 when Farage spotted him in the playground:

“He towered over me. ‘Where are you from?’ he asked. Within seconds of offering my rather confused and sputtering answers, he had a clear response: ‘That’s the way back to Africa,’.”

Exclusive: Yinka Bankole says he felt compelled to speak out after Reform leader’s attempts to ‘dismiss’ hurt of alleged targets

It's a sign of the depth of stupidity in Reform voters that they cannot understand why rich, often overseas, donors give vast sums to Farage's private company (which masquerades as a political party)
He is not, nor ever was, a man of the people. He is a grifter exploiting his privilege & his voters.
Reform’s record £9m crypto donation is just the latest offering from abroad

Two thirds of funds given to Nigel Farage’s party this parliament have come from donors with overseas interests

Good piece by @writesbright.bsky.social on Reform’s finances. Populists talk repeatedly about “the people”, but it’s a few very wealthy people who really matter because they’re the ones who pay:

Farage hopes he can breeze into power without scrutiny. But his racism, corrupt donations, shady links to Russia and MAGA… make it harder for him to hide. And his tantrum reactions to being challenged reveal him for the nasty inadequate he really is.

Then not rejoining is betraying the economic potential of our country.
Admitting that rejoining the customs union was not “currently” the Government’s official policy, Deputy Prime Minister Mr Lammy did concede that the growth potential of rejoining was “self-evident”

Reform is rising?

Yes, but more like a dehydrated turd than a phoenix.

Contempt for the conmen, compassion for the uneducated conned, who believe Reform's hateful rhetoric. As if Farage, who wants to privatise the NHS, gave us Brexit and spouted racism even in his childhood, has any answers.
He’s just downgraded it to 85, he says 85 is nearly 100.

I know people who voted to remain in the EU and are so frustrated by Brexit and the current government’s inaction that they have (incredibly) decided to vote for Reform because they think they are the only party that can change anything.

Crazy?

This is how populism works.

Well, if even The Telegraph has finally given its head a wobble & accepted Brexit is an unmitigated disaster, maybe even the government will properly address the elephant in the room.
Stop tinkering Starmer, get rejoin negotiations put on the table. Better to grovel to Brussels than Trump or Putin.

With very big negative influences in the world, please reflect on smaller ones we could change.
Our lives were so much simpler & less frustrating before, click & collect, self-service tills, home delivery, takeaway delivery, social media & multichannel TV. We were thinner & could talk to each other.

Most regions including Christianity, have kindness and charity at their core. Badenoch doesn't represent the views of true Christians.
Why do the right-wing here and in the USA spout their perverse interpretation of the teachings of Christ, while ignoring the true messages of Christianity.
