I still don’t regard myself as a technical master of either, though I’ve gotten a lot more polished with time.

But it’s the essence of punk rock, or whatever you want to call it: don’t worry if it’s good. That comes with time. What you can be now is honest. Honesty is what people respond to in art.

Ripley is done with her surgery and on the good drugs. The surgeon had to improvise a bit because in addition to her luxated patella, she also had a torn ACL and a torn meniscus. Woof. Luckily, the recovery time and rehab plan is similar, and we look forward to having her home tomorrow. 🩷
