Yeah, pretty much. I cut my arm on a rusty nail the other day and immediately realized that could easily have been fatal even 100 years ago.

Also, the idea that people in the past cared less about the deceased - particularly children, who died so frequently - is simply wrong; they cared every bit as much as people do today, but they had to live with constant heartbreaking loss in ways we can hardly imagine.

I'll say one last thing for now: It is important that millennials don't follow in this mold. Yes it sucks we're in our 40s and still havent been allowed to steer film culture in a real way but if you catch yourself or your peers kneejerk sneering at Gen Z stuff, spritz water on that shit

I will die without treatment :p I dont have a support system irl, this is my only lifeline hehe. I have severe hypothyroidism which can lead to a myxedema coma / crisis / death within weeks 💯 I am also really good at art. Help me keep creating and living please
