Arrived in RDU from SFO last night thru roughest turbulence i've experienced 😭 if there are any airplane experts here, what is going on when it feels like the plane is being tossed around, and there is a loud roaring noise? Are the pilots gunning engines or is that the wind?

It is really worth doing this even though I've gone over this mss so many times already. A few punctuation things, a few typos, and occasional unnecessary sentences or unclear dialogue tags add up!
