Couldn't believe my ears when that music AI guy said nobody actually enjoys making music. That ranks as one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Anybody who knows how to make music enjoys making music. Why would they have ever learned to do it if it didn't bring them joy?

2 of 3; the human one was to me immediately apparent, as was the very AI one. waffled on the last one and shouldn't have overthought it. should have followed my gut.

takeaways: genAI has gotten remarkably better in the last year. it's going to get even more difficult to spot in the future.

Hey all, I'm trying to get a baseline for how good people are at detecting whether fiction is AI-generated or human-written (most of the research on this is for nonfiction and my hypothesis is we're better with fiction).

If you have time, give it a try?
