Any chance crime comes up around the holiday table? Guns and crime? Here’s a great listen and account to follow.

Chicago's crime trends didn't meaningfully change during Midway Blitz but 911 calls dropped precipitously -- particularly in parts of the city with higher Hispanic populations. This week's newsletter:

Excited to partake in another great American tradition this week: buying guns on Black Friday.

Glad they dragged themselves through the mud by bringing in Tucker for a pointless workout.

New this week: I revisit Chicago's crime trends in the wake of Midway Blitz. The operation probably didn't impact crime in the city, but 911 calls -- especially from Hispanic areas -- fell substantially.

I'm sorry, but I won't believe the AI hype until it'll allow me to have a conversation about warp field theory with a creepy lifelike representation of Dr Leah Brahms.

I know he's not pulling the roster strings, but Kellen is not doing a damn thing to endear himself to fans.

The Saints are trying out Justin Tucker?!?!

We're special.

The Saints top 5 cap hits for 2026 AND 2027 are:

A 35 year old TE averaging 2 yards per carry
A 30 year old RB averaging 3.5 yards per carry
A 36 year old DE
A 36 year old LB
A 28 year old C who has played 14 games total the last 2 years.
November 24, 2025 at 12:31 AM
The Saints had 9 plays inside Atlanta's 10. They ran 8 designed runs by Hill and Shough and 1 Hill incompletion.

About out on Kellen Moore
November 23, 2025 at 11:46 PM
That is some godawful play calling on 1st and goal from the 8.

QB draw
Handoff to guy average 2 yards per carry
QB draw
Guy averaging 2 yards per carry throws incompletion.

Nothing sums up how backwards the Saints are than sticking with a guy who is neither accurate nor particularly strong legged in an age of kickers regularly making 85 yard field goals with absurd precision.
