New this week: I revisit Chicago's crime trends in the wake of Midway Blitz. The operation probably didn't impact crime in the city, but 911 calls -- especially from Hispanic areas -- fell substantially.

I'm willing to give him some grace under the Guys Improve Theorem and fact that he's not controlling roster decisions that are crushing the team. But it's not a good sign that he's a 35 year old offensive guy coaching like a 60 year old defensive coordinator promoted the interim coach.

Nothing sums up how backwards the Saints are than sticking with a guy who is neither accurate nor particularly strong legged in an age of kickers regularly making 85 yard field goals with absurd precision.
