Chicago's crime trends didn't meaningfully change during Midway Blitz but 911 calls dropped precipitously -- particularly in parts of the city with higher Hispanic populations. This week's newsletter:

New this week: I revisit Chicago's crime trends in the wake of Midway Blitz. The operation probably didn't impact crime in the city, but 911 calls -- especially from Hispanic areas -- fell substantially.
