And I completely agree with @mdonaldson86.bsky.social on the lack of a two tight end presence being a huge issue. I said it last year that if we could either have three new tight ends or the same three tight ends as last year, I'd take the former. Dally is great - the other guys not so much.

I just always seem to remember the 00s Eagles getting Brian Westbrook out in space in either the flats or on a curl in the middle of the field, and letting him cook. I know Saquon can do that and I think Shipley can, too.

I think the tight end screen game has been great! Unfortunately, the wide receiver screen game has been a war crime. The running back screen game has been somewhere in the middle. They need to change things in any case.

Until they do, I would love to see some West Coast Offense principles. Barkley and Shipley can catch the ball, why not run some short pass plays in favor of runs? Clearly the passing game is working. Plus these guys are dynamic, they can break one or two once in a while.

I think it's a little bit of Steen versus not just Becton but every other Eagles RG in modern history, and also Cam Jurgens was out, Landon Dickerson is being held together with duct tape, Jordan Mailata has to have something going on too but isn't being reported much, etc. Not ideal.
