While I don't think I would have made this choice, I am also no where near as instantly hostile as some. The responses I have seen are more telling about the responders than Mongoose here. Pretty clear some folks went knee jerk without thinking to much about it.

I really wish I had money to spend, because there are several games I would love to get my hands on. My salary has not kept up with inflation and it is super hard to keep my game buying hobby. This is rights up my alley. Oh well, maybe someday.

Dune, largely because I read at 9 or 10, and it blew my mind. Taught me to think of religions, language, and governments as tools of control. I used to read it every so often and would take something new from it. It is not perfect but it opened my eyes to new ways of thinking.

My latest hyperfixation is the lore surrounding the wargame/rpg called Infinity. Cyberpunk space opera with interesting world building in the beginning of the 23rd century. I can't afford to get into the wargame & not many to play with if I did, but the world is cool.

I wish they would stop interviewing Avi Loeb about 3i/Atlas. They always go interview the one guy saying it might be aliens and never bring up most of the astronomers completely disagree with him. He mischaracterizes a lot of the data to leave open things to his interpretation.
