The Bills looked like chokers today in Gillette Stadium. Josh Allen actually threw up.

But they still beat the Patriots anyway.

My column on how the Bills left it all out on the field:

Rob Reiner: I'm going to make a coming of age drama, a fantasy adventure story, a romantic comedy, a psychological horror and then a courtroom drama.

Us: Across your entire career?

Reiner: In a 6 year period.

Us: That sounds-

Reiner: -Each one will be arguably the best movie in that genre.

Rob Reiner was a good guy. He made a lot of movies about good guys, in worlds where not everyone was good and you didn’t have to be good. He made movies about people trying. He was angry, as many hopeful people are. He knew the world could be better and he wanted it to be. His death is devastating.

Rob Reiner made some great movies but he was also unafraid to speak the truth, and was one of the public voices who knew you don’t squander your platform, and only got louder about opposing evil fucks as he got older. Legend.

This is fucking grim. Somebody invented a white guy, an "IT professional" named Edward Crabtree, who stopped the Bondi shooting and spread it all over the internet, which was picked up by AI agents and slop aggregation sites.

The real hero is a fruit stand owner named Ahmed el Ahmed.

And the Buffalo Bills win it. The stop a "hat and t-shirt game" for the New England Patriots, as Dion Dawkins put it earlier this week.
Bills overcome 21-point deficit to win 35-31. They are 10-4.

The Bills beat the Patriots 35-31 and improve to 10-4. New England is held off from clinching the AFC East. After a woeful 1st half, Bills climb back from 21-point deficit thanks to a heck of a Josh Allen performance and the defense settling down. Run defense remains a big issue.

precious few of our national level leaders have acted as heroes this year. That has largely been a role foisted upon regular people to bear the burden of being courageous in the face of authoritarianism.

Senator Van Hollen saving Kilmar’s life is an exception - a genuine act of heroism.
Today, I spoke with Kilmar Abrego Garcia and his wife, Jennifer. In April, when I met with him in El Salvador, Trump said he would never set foot in the U.S. again.

This case has never been about one man alone; if the govt can violate the constitutional rights of one, all our rights are threatened.

People complain about Romo and Brady’s coverage but I love the way both of them call the game. If you dont want expert analysis dont call an expert!

We are a country that generally wants sane gun control laws, with one party that wants sane gun control laws, and one party that is beholden to a death cult.
There is now officially a class of people who have survived multiple mass shootings. We are a country without serious or effective leadership (and I don't just mean since DJT showed up.)

At the half, SLU 0, North Carolina State 0. NC State with 8 shots to 0 for SLU, but Billikens had some chances, just didn't get shots. Billikens have given up a goal in 3 of 4 NCAA games, so progress? Not trailing at halftime for a change.

One under-appreciated part of this: note the bit below about “and their dependents.”

Under the Trump admin’s new policy, dependent children of visa applicants are not allowed to have their social media set to private during the entire visa process. They MUST make their social media public.
