“We buried everything in the ground, and we even burned some of the things,” said an army source.

The Israeli army has buried or burned more than a thousand truckloads worth of humanitarian aid in Gaza, including food, medical supplies, and bottled water, amid the ongoing forced starvation of Palestinians.

The existence of billionaires is incompatible with the possibility of democracy. Their wealth—extracted from the labor and lives of others—should be put to use to build an actually livable world rather than a fascist oligarchy. This position is the floor for a viable Democratic Party.

What we must all remember from the Gaza genocide is that the international system is rotten to its core and needs to be completely replaced.

We cannot accept a system where Western governments and leaders can commit genocide and war crimes with total impunity.
Sett bort ifra at IDF mest sannsynlig lyver.

Al Jazeera is doing videos of the Palestinian releases and they're heart wrenching. One man was detained for over a year and was released to find out that Israel had killed his two kids. The youngest was three. Her birthday would've been on Saturday. He'd made a small bracelet for her in prison.

“Palestinian society on a whole is suffering far, far more" than Israeli society, says historian Joel Beinin, whose niece was held hostage by Hamas for 54 days.
And if they are holding some "just" out of cruelty, how is that not worse? The problem with the framing, also consistently done so by NRK, is that it makes it seem like Israels actions are somehow more "legit", or "civilised" or whatever you might choose to call it. Which is far from the truth.
But if you think Israel is not holding "prisoners" in order to compel Palestinians you have not been paying much attention. Do you really think they arrested all these people for some other reasons than being used as pawns in negotiations?

1700 frigitte palestinere får to små avsnitt, uten navn eller bilde. De er en underordnet, uviktig masse. Slik bidrar Aftenposten til å forsterke maktforholdet.
