Tell you what “PAX Australia evacuated” would have been huge for posting on old Twitter (I hope everything and everyone is okay)

I went through a lot of paper towel but have emerged stronger

Tell you what those seagulls around the Melbourne convention center are not playing around this year, they will covet you in a thick layer of shit if you let your guard down for even a second

We love a classic “everyone who lives in South Australia catches up in Melbourne” situation (I will be keeping an eye out for both of you)

My book is sort-of relaunching with its new distributor this week! Mostly in the US but you CAN get it in Australia too!

Also if you see me at Games Week and you have my book on you I will happily sign it (and feel very cool doing it)

Éalú - a stop-motion, point-and-click puzzle game where you guide a lil wooden mouse - has launched today, and could probably do with your shares and support! 🐁

(Support the game on Steam)

I know this re-release is the height of Nintendo cashgrabbing but my word are the Super Mario Galaxy games good. Peak of the series.

Incredible that *the* big game on the service of the last few months - honestly maybe this whole year - is Hollow Knight: Silksong, which costs less than one month of the subscription fee by itself to own forever

(There are still many great indie games coming to GP; you should just buy them)

Somehow this is going to be an event where I finally catch up with a lot of my Adelaide friends

A few months ago I was given a 12-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate code for coverage. In that time the *financial* value of that code has gone up considerably while the *cultural* value of it has dropped to almost nothing.

This is a fantastic bundle at a great price ($33 here in Australia). I worked on Kulebra and I think the game's a delight, and everything else I've played in here is at *least* very good.

Saw Spinal Tap II last night. The original This is Spinal Tap is my favourite movie, but the sequel is like one of those “look at these old legends saying their quotes and shit” Super Bowl commercials for an insurance company stretched out to 75 minutes

Big big fan of One Battle After Another, a movie I must watch again as soon as possible.
