Sad news - Just heard that Diana Green has passed away. Met her when I got a gig teaching at MCAD where she was teaching Comic Book History. This pic is from the 2024 Autoptic Festival. Her love and enthusiasm for comics was boundless.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day honors the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the civil rights leader. Through peaceful protests and powerful speeches, he challenged racial segregation and inspired a nation to pursue social justice. He was assassinated on April 4, 1968 at the age 39.

I’ve started using the term “ethnic cleansing campaign” to describe the ICE occupation here in Minnesota. This is deliberate because the reality on the ground is that, at a given moment, any non-white person can be kidnapped by masked federal paramilitaries regardless of their constitutional rights.
