Yesterday as I was driving back to my very urban home, I came around the corner and there was a bald eagle sitting in my neighbors driveway. It looked at me for a few seconds (with my mouth hanging open) and then it flew off. I do live on a lake but have never seen that in all the 40 years here.

Farmers get so much financial help it's ridiculous. Example was my very old Uncle was getting govnmt cks for growing alfalfa for a couple of race horses he had. His whole farming life they took those subsidies as much as they could. Later on he mostly grew peppermint for the oil.

I'm going to get mine, again, next week. I've had covid 3 times. Once when I'd just finished chemo. If I'd not had the vaccine I likely wouldn't have lived through it that time. So yeah FUCK RFK.

It's thrilling isn't it? I live in Puget Sound area and we were on our boat this summer and after many attempts I finally managed to see humpbacks, orcas and dolphins all in one day and on our last day before getting home. I seem to always miss them. 🎉

I'm thinking it must be different state by state? I have never heard of a waiting list in WA state either. I know kids in foster care and ward of the state are covered by it.
