I’m not the biggest 90s music fan, but this book was a great read/listen. Thoroughly entertaining and often hilarious. The audio version sounds like Mark Maron riffing on Smashing Pumpkins and Los Del Rio. I didn’t know anything about Stephan Jenkins before this book.Too funny.

Haven’t seen it yet but not surprising. I will always love that first season though for being the closest thing to watching a horror movie in 1982 on VHS that I’ve seen. Completely nails it.
“Stranger Things” has managed to come across more as an homage to pop culture than “a cynical cash grab in an era of supercuts and sequels,” writes @sophiegilbert.bsky.social. Its fifth and final season is showing the strain:
‘Stranger Things’ Comes to an Exhausting End
The Netflix show is back for a final season, but its brand is forever.

Let’s goooooooo.
#Commanders QB Jayden Daniels will indeed be returning to practice this week, a person familiar with the matter confirms. NFLN was first.

It's been just a little more than 3 weeks since he dislocated his left elbow vs. Seattle.

It’s weird to me that we’re 25+ years into e-commerce, and I still have never found a web UI for browsing books that comes remotely close to or improves on the experience of browsing in a physical bookstore. Something I find super frustrating.

Finished this book the other day. The story of Josh Harris was a little meh but pretty good history of the computing world leading up to Web 1.0 and the dotcom crash. Good weird times those were. I have stories.

I don’t know… You had a chance to make an important statement about the existence of UAPs and decided to dress like you’re on your way to undersized vneck night at club paradise on the Jersey shore.

YES! This was a great episode of bandsplain. Comparing Courtney and Anton to Amadeus and Salieri has really changed my entire perspective. Rewatch of Dig! incoming.
Chuckled along and nodded my head thoroughly during this episode of Bandsplain w/ guest Joe Coscarelli in which they unpack Ondi Timoner’s Dig! documentary on the Brian Jonestown and the Dandy Warhols—agreed newcom(b)ers should seek out the original vs. rerelease www.theringer.com/podcasts/ban...

I’m trying to figure out which furry villain ate a bag of Funyuns while I was away. One looks more guilty but one looks like she’s trying hard to look casual.

RIP Mani. I remember when the 1st Stone Roses album came out in 1989. Man, they were a big deal in the UK. Not as huge here in America but their eponymous debut was very promising. The 2nd side was a bit uneven. But the 1st side : excellent. I Wanna Be Adored, She Bangs the Drum, Don't Stop, etc.
