The great Jean Arthur is star-of-the-month on #TCM, so they’re showing some fabulous films they rarely if ever do normally. (Her studio was Columbia.)

In particular, look out for two underseen all-time great comedies, “Too Many Husbands” (1940) and “If You Could Only Cook” (1935).

The original article came out in Scientific American in March 1973. Titled “Bicycle Technology” it showed humans on bicycles as the most efficient form of transportation. I was 15 years old and this had a big impact on me. Ever since I've always thought riding a bicycle was really cool 👍
