This is largely true in the United States as well. Synagogues and Jewish institutions are paying significant amounts to be safe every day of the week. If you don't live it, you might not know about it. Also the comments of the "comedienne" cited here went even further. It feeds the baseless hatred.

This is what I have feared. That all the talk from this administration about "elite" "liberal" "DEI" schools would inspire violence towards them, and create this image that they are a threat.
