In fairness, we were also pretty busy with an insurrection at the Capitol, encouraged by people like Patel himself.
I’m sure the very FBI agents who solved the case they worked on for years are pleased to hear their Director call them incompetent.

The problem is not the pardon power. The problem is us. We weren't supposed to elect a crook as POTUS. If we did, the people we elected in Congress are supposed to do something about it. We're idiots, so we've elected crooks & cowards all the way up the line.

The problem is us. We need to fix us.
Giving the president the pardon power was a mistake. The most corrupt president in American history is conducting a jailbreak for his fellow criminals.

Putin is playing for time.

Witkoff and Kushner want business deals.

Trump is happy to lend his name to anything called a "peace plan."

And Zelensky and his team have to play along because they still have to stay on Trump’s good side.

Trump, continued: "What the Somalian people have done to Minnesota is not even believable. It’s not even believable. And a lot of it starts with the governor. A lot of it starts with Barack HUSSEIN Obama, because that’s when people started coming in... They want to kiss our country good night."

Lead Post reporter on that story Alex Horton served in the infantry in Iraq.
Q: So you didn't see any survivors after that first strike?

HEGSETH: I did not personally see survivors. The thing was on fire. This is called the fog of war. This is what you in the press don't understand. You sit in your air conditioned offices and plant fake stories in the Washington Post

Kelly: He runs around on stage talking about lethality and the warrior ethos.. That’s not the message that should be coming from the Secretary of Defense… He runs around on a stage like he’s a 12 year old playing army. It’s embarrassing.

I do think Hegseth is cooked but it’s like 15% because of the war crime and 85% because of that bit where he dragged every active duty General to Quantico to listen to his TED talk about why they’re all a bunch of pussies.

In 2025, 27% of Germans say relations with the U.S. are good, while 73% say they are bad – a complete flip from the last year (74% good vs. 22% bad).

Americans’ views – while more negative than in 2024 – continue to be positive toward the U.S.-Germany relationship overall.

What is Jared Kushner's job in the administration?
I’d rather question why is Kushner there and why is he laying out a vision? We did not vote him into any gov position nor the senate we voted for has approved his candidacy.

This isn’t a grey zone anymore, it’s 50 shades of grey.

Typically people have been allowed to stay when they have a “change of status” pending in the system. In fact, it can screw things up if they leave.
If you are married to a US spouse, your temporary visa (usually for 3 months) will lapse before your case is processed. The government allowed you could stay in the US while awaiting case processing. Now the Trump admin is saying that is a visa overstay and arresting the spouses.
