The Republican lawmakers who are listening to this know Trump is lying. They approve of him lying because they think it helps keep them in power so they can stuff more money in their pockets.
Trump: "Transgender for everyone! Bring your kids in, we're gonna change the sex of your child. Just send them our way. In some cases, like in Minnesota, they don't even tell the parents. Nobody believes it when I say it. They operate on the kid, they don't tell the parents. It's not believable."

Tim Walz is a lifelong public servant who has always known that this isn't about him—it's about making life better for the people of Minnesota. I have such a tremendous amount of respect for his decision to pass the torch and let others step up to serve. We need more leaders like him.

No politician is without their ego, and I only interacted with Gov. Walz 2-3 times, but I’d no bullshit put him at one of the smallest egos of any governor in the past decade. Maybe bottom 5, just to be safe.
