This is one of my big bugbears but I firmly believe that artists need to not work for big publishers but in particular Marvel and DC in comics. Page rates haven't gone up since BEFORE I WAS BORN, and that's NOT ADJUSTED FOR INFLATION.

Okay, I saw someone describe Star Trek Academy as Space Riverdale and..... I hope it's that, that would slap. Fuck it mine all the weird comics and novels from Star Trek history and make ludicriously grim and gritty episodes based on them where everyone unconvincingly pretends to be horny.

As a lowbie creative discoverability is a much bigger problem to me than piracy. I could not care less if I saw some of my writing on a piracy website. I would be pretty pissed if a corporation was making money somehow, but if I see such a thing I shrug and hope more people read my stuff
