Here's a sneak preview of a wild new arcade that is coming in January 2026. Located in the Pittsburg area, members of the Pittsburgh Arcade Collective have turned a beautiful retired church into a new Retro Arcade.

That the Data East main office in Tokyo was located across the street from a graveyard, leading some staff to believe the office was haunted. One more piece of useless knowledge: The voices for a version of Karate Champ were supposedly recorded in an empty women's locker room on the top floor.

It's Nov 22nd in Japan which means it's the 30th anniversary of Namco Museum Vol. 1

These days thanks to Hamster & Namco, we also have home ports of games like Aqua Jet & Tokyo Wars which didn't even exist in arcades when Vol.1 released

Every era is a Namco era

We really need more back-stories on how these masters are found. Was an archivist completing an overdue inventory or was this hidden away on a top shelf?
The "Golgo 13" anime (from 1971) will be released on Blu-ray in Japan.
This series was considered lost until the masters were found two years ago.

one of the odder events planned for the 40th anniversary of Ninja JaJamaru-kun: City Connection prez Yoshikawa's so fed up with seeing ppl repeating falsehoods about Jaleco "ripping off" UPL's Ninja-kun that they're going to dig up the original paperwork proving it had an official co-sign from UPL 🇯🇵
