Seeking suggestions for something I can do that’s so horrible that the Republican Party will embrace me and give me lots of money to go on podcasts and post on social media.
Brand is of course still awating trial on UK rape charges, to which he has pleaded not guilty; this is evidently not an impediment to appearing at gatherings with Republican officials including the vice president and HHS secretary. This morning I went to a lecture describing the level of death, suffering, and destruction in Palestine. It really helped me understand why Evangelical Christians support Israel.

Sometimes when people ask me why I’m wearing a mask I say I’m traveling or have some important thing soon and can’t afford to get sick and miss it and that’s pretty much always true but I think it would be nice if it were more normalized to just say “I don’t want to get sick” and leave it at that
