I read "The Half Has Never Been Told: Slavery and the Making of American Capitalism" a year or so ago and it laid out the economics of chattel slavery and how it underpinned the entire world economy.

Nothing is real to MAGA, that's what you need to understand. Everything can be true or false at any time, or even the same time, depending on what they need to believe in order to feel catharsis. They have created vast, insular social environments for the purpose of endless emotional indulgence.

Tea Party was astroturf. No Kings is more organic (hopefully). Tea Part was top-down. I don't think we are seeing that with No Kings.

pretending to know know what the term means and what the protests are about is just more Republican disrespectful lying.

Everyone knows what No Kings is about. They know, we know, we know they know. It's insulting to us and paints them in a very bad light. Yet that is all they have.
