Xu Qinxian, a Chinese major general in the People's Liberation Army, became known for refusing to carry out orders to use military force against demonstrators in Beijing during the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests.

He was executed.

The smart, tech savvy son of a wealthy merchant/investor, who stole the work of many contemporaries -such as Nikola Tesla- in order to own the radio patent.

Remind you of anyone? (Tesla is one clue. Nikola is another)

Representative democracy is designed to give commoners the impression that they run their govt.

The capital-class runs things.

But putting down revolts is expensive. Both in terms of paying some of the workers to kill the others and in lost productivity.

The Founding Fathers had a better way.

As others have aptly pointed out, police forces have been murdering people for a long time, especially POC. This terrorism from ICE is only a continuation and newest version of what we have been seeing for a long time.

There it is.

Something to keep in mind about Minnesotans protesting unarmed with guns being pointed at them is that they more or less ALL have access to a gun, but are choosing not to bring one.

I don't trust TikTok, Larry Ellison or any tech firm.

That said, no social media is going to stop you from uploading a video because they don't like the subject.

If it's CSAM, terrorism or the like, they'll report you and delete account.

But mostly they "shadow ban".

Yes, it really is a thing.

It appears that Trump 2.0 may have both made Democratic voters understand the value of being armed and organized into militias and Republican politicians begin to question #2A absolutism.

Interesting and dangerous times.

Upon studying the life of Henry VIII, many parallels can be drawn between he & Trump.

Second child and mama's boy. Dad doesn't pay much attention, because he's not the firstborn scion.

Then the firstborn dies.

Leaving Mama's Boy in the limelight, with something to prove.

And boy, does he ever!

You'd have to envision a totally different party.

One that cared what the voters want.
Imagine if institutional Dems blacklisted everyone involved in scammer groups that fundraise off moments like this with half the intensity they blacklist people who work on primary campaigns against people who vote to thank and fund ICE

What can I say about the perfect biscuit?

Don't use one fat, mix 2. Butter & lard or shortening work well.

You can only get proper biscuit flour in the South.

Failing anything with "Lily" in the name, use AP flour. (I do & it's fine)

Chill the fat & liquid.

AVOID OVERWORKING THE DOUGH.

Anyone that votes a straight ticket for one part only, has no real input on the process whatsoever.

I vote for politicians, after they have presented a platform that I agree with.

Even if that means I don't vote and have no input.

Which also means a clear conscience.

Can confirm.

The genesis of MAGA is old-fashioned white supremacy.

However, the Caucasian-bashing from prominent Democrats has contributed to a political environment where a lot of white folks will simply stay home.

Which is the only way MAGA can win.
