Still puzzled about John McTiernan being in director jail. Sure, he lied to the FBI. John Landis killed three people and he still was able to make movies for years.

Bought my tickets for Del Toro's Frankenstein at the Hi Pointe in St. Louis on Friday night. It's a three hour drive and, believe me, I'd rather not, but my local theaters have all failed me.

I am deep into silent film, which are 95+ years old, so I am used to revisionism but it is surreal to see revisionism of film history I remember the first time.

Also, there is this weird revisionism about TRON. The first made money, the second made money. Not STAR WARS money but these “what can you expect with a TRON movie?” responses are not lining up with what actually happened.
