I assumed that killing millions of poor people was the goal. Based on that, DOGE seems likely to be successful over the long term. If it was about saving money, then it was a comical failure.

While I love the sentiment, I do not view it as frightening, it just pisses me off. Two of my grandfathers fought against the Nazis, then came home and just dealt with it, while being good husbands and dads. I am a Vet with PTSD, and not feeling normal or good is isolating.
AOC to @pabloreports.bsky.social : A swastika is one of the clearest symbols of hatred in all of humanity… to remove that designation… indicates a possible collaboration with those very elements, which I think is genuinely frightening to any American.

If they ever spent anytime around folks from the India, they would freak out over the "aunties". Personally, I would be happy to have extra like-minded adults invested in my family and their wellbeing, even more so in dense population centers.
