Currently waiting for a live Min of Education webinar on the new maths curriculum. Nobody here. 15 of us waiting at my school alone. Maths teachers all round the country doing the same thing. Implementation of the new curriculum from the MoE woeful.

I am not going to be hypercritical about Nikki Kaye but I will say as a middle aged woman I find it heart-breaking that any woman can die of breast cancer at 44 and I feel for her family and friends

Having watched politics unfold on social media for a decade now, I can tell you one of the failures of the left has been relying on a handful of influencers(for lack of a better term) with a million followers instead of building an army of 100k of us to to do the heavy lifting.

#BHN This Government is 'road happy' and while that is infrastructure that needs to be addressed, we're wondering why the big watery 'road of national significance' between the North and South Island is being ignored

New Zealand can learn from the issues raised in Australia’s recently released COVID inquiry report. It would benefit from closer collaboration to build capacity in disease surveillance and testing.

Infants under 6 months old are MORE vulnerable to hospitalisation and severe hospitalisation than even people over 90 yrs old.

The good news is that they *very* rarely die from Covid (risk of death is MUCH higher for the over 60s), but needing to go to A&E, or a hospital stay, is NOT good. 3/10
