I got so stoned at a Mets game once I compared the Jumbotron to the top screen of a Nintendo DS bc it had “a bunch of useful contextual information” and the field to the bottom screen bc “it’s where the game is actually played”

alright i have a working build of boxed tux racer (circa 2001) on my modern Linux machine now. there's still some stuff that needs to be done, including gamepad support and X11 support. but I have something functional for now.

like i wish it had more downtime but god the story is amazing the characters and callbacks and interwoven stories between the two games is great i love all the special character dialogues the combat is AWESOME the soundtrack is pretty good everything just falls so nicely together. 3e is also great

action/platformer speedruns: yea we have to do 100 frame perfect tricks to clip through all these sections and it's all skill based and precise practice and speed
