Raps look like a team that desperately needs a break. Knicks look like the best team in the East

The Raps have played the most games in the league, including 7 in last 11. This is the league, though, and they are far from the only team missing key players. This stretch has been really bad, if not entirely unpredictable or inexcusable.

We saw in the first couple weeks how helpless Raps can look when Poeltl is compromised and Quickley is struggling. Take IQ and RJ out of the lineup entirely while Poeltl is limited and you get ... this. This is where Gradey leveling up at all as a scorer could've been huge.

On a positive note (other than the obvious of Ingram's shot-making), Shead has given Raps some great minutes starting in place of Quickley. Needed more from Barnes on the offensive end

Raptors should fly to Miami tomorrow and just sit on the beach and not practice all week until the game this weekend. Have looked dead-legged for the last two weeks.

Poeltl not having any lift is one thing. Can't control that. But making poor decisions like that one is extremely out of character. Awful night for him.

2nd half starts with Poeltl trying a floater instead of just going up and jamming it uncontested, and the Knicks get a 3 on the other end. Bruuutal

Red Panda still the GOAT
December 10, 2025 at 2:58 AM
What a shot-making display from Brunson. Raps can't buy a rebound. Margin for error is slim, and they're not helping themselves, but credit the Knicks on both ends

Santa sitting courtside is ringing his bell during Knicks free throws. This is Toronto's version of the old Sacramento cowbell

Two quick fouls on KAT. So it goes.

Ingram clearly has some bounce/pop back tonight. Great sign
December 10, 2025 at 1:59 AM
Hart's reaction on that first Barnes layup was hilarious. He was clearly annoyed that KAT provided zero resistance at the rim after he hounded him all the way up the court

Leafs still feel uninspiring, the PP stinks, Stolarz & Woll are out, yet suddenly 5-1-1 in their last seven in a division that hasn't gone anywhere

29-10-10 for Derik Queen and counting

The Wolves had won five in a row, had the Booker-less Suns coming in to Minnesota, got 40 points on 71% shooting from Ant ... and lost. They just can't seem to get fully rolling, and Phoenix remains a thorn in everyone's side. Wolves now 2-8 vs. winning teams, 13-1 vs. losers

Nice stretch late-3rd/early 4th, but the Raptors got what they deserved today. Mazzulla and Brown working wonders with this Celtics team

Neemias Queta is controlling the paint right now. Challenging shots and recovering to the glass. Really good stuff late here from Queta.

Lawson hadn't touched an NBA court yet this season, but he put the work in for the 905, played well, steps into the Raps' rotation today and provides an immediate spark. Impressive
December 7, 2025 at 10:28 PM
Raps finally put a run together. Wonder if Jak's back is bothering him again or it's just one of those days, but Queta has been jumping twice before Poeltl can even get off the ground
December 7, 2025 at 10:17 PM
Raps getting bullied right now. Couldn't match Boston's physicality, couldn't figure out how to attack Celts' D, and they were chasing the game immediately. Disappointing given the egg they laid Friday night at home
December 7, 2025 at 9:41 PM
Raps' O hasn't looked as sharp without RJ, and 5 games in 7 nights is a lot, but losing in that fashion at home to this Hornets team is inexcusable. Have to flush it and hope we just witnessed what will stand as the worst performance of Toronto's season
December 6, 2025 at 3:08 AM
Man, this is pitiful basketball from the Raps. Back-to-back is no excuse for this. They need to come out of the half energized. And Ingram needs to find his groove again. Rough watch so far tonight
