You'll notice that every single time there is an incident, the administration puts out an immediate statement full of lies and distortions so that they can manage the narrative from the start. And the media runs with it.
The Trump administration is excusing murder by ICE using the same lies as those told by Maduro’s regime. These lies are part of the logic of death squads. Govt controls the story & the next murder is easier. And suddenly this is normal and people simply disappear.

There aren't many things in life that are black & white, but what happened in Minneapolis is one of those things. It's clear and indisputable Good was murdered, that Trump and Vance are lying through their teeth and that ICE is a domestic terrorist group. Thanks for your attention to this matter.

I've been arguing for this forever. Blue states should form an alliance, work together to thwart Trump's agenda. It worked when Northern states joined forces to defeat the South in the Civil War. It could work again.
There is a remedy! The Second Amendment was not written so some yahoo can buy an AR-15. It was written so states can have well-regulated militias to protect against tyranny. Every Blue State governor should activate their National Guard. (Note to ICE: Unlike you, the Guard is trained.)

The past couple days have made it clear that arresting and prosecuting Johnathan Ross isn’t just the right thing to do, it is necessary to prevent future violence by ICE who have interpreted the situation as “we can do that to whoever we want”

We're not trying to convince people that "all is lost." We are trying to convince people that our systems are broken and that it is up to us to stand up and resist. You're the ones who keep pretending the system is still viable, just kick back and wait. We can't wait.
Not even a fascist state, but even a more generically authoritarian state would be scary enough for most people not to risk that. Which is why I wish people would stop trying to convince other people that all is lost.
