Richard Tice failed to register lavish hospitality from former Russian finance minister’s wife

Aside from yet another Reform-Russia connection, it is a scandal that MPs are allowed to accept such hospitality. It must be made illegal.

Farage says his partner bought the house with family money. The BBC can’t find that family money:

“Her parents, Bertrand and Chantal, live in a flat worth around 350,000 euros (£302,000) in a Strasbourg suburb. They, and their two daughters, co-own the flat.”

I consume a good amount of normie, center-left political content (New Yorker, NYTimes, Atlantic, Bulwark, Hayes, Maddow, etc.) produced mostly by people who've been in the US politics biz for over 2 decades...and in the past month there's been a noticeable shift in tone and urgency.

yes, always struck me that #BBC rush to appease marginal farage over the years was never extended to the far more widely supported #greens. shameful cowardice.
“I don’t remember anyone ever saying to us ‘Oh I just don't think we're properly reflecting the Green Party view, or the liberal-left view on this story’,” one former BBC journalist told me.

“It was always just slanted in one direction – which was basically the nativist, authoritarian direction.”
