UK policies are barely distinguishable from US policies at this point.

That's not a compliment.
NEW: UK confirms 15% cut to the Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria for its next funding round, a decision aid agenices say will result in hundreds of thousands of otherwise avoidable deaths.

I've looked at all the details of this deal to end the shutdown reached by a small group of Senate Democrats. I've talked to a number of friends on the Hill to see if there's anything I'm missing. Sadly, I am not.

This is a shit deal. It's a betrayal. It's cowardice.

Since the Democrats worked extra hard to hide who actually supported this, I think the No Kings/Resistance position should be to primary every Democrat unless they publicly call for Schumer's ouster this week

Either they go into total rebellion mode, which they won't, or the people will

This is outrageous.

Not only are they reinstating Confederate memorials, they are removing those that honour Black soldiers.
1/ The US Government has quietly removed a memorial to Black soldiers who died in World War II from the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, South Limburg. The move follows a complaint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission. ⬇️

One of our earliest and very best experiences after moving to Winchester was completely accidental. We'd booked a night at the theatre on the night of the Torchlight Parade and ended up with a front row seat standing at the bar as they all marched by! Tonight's march was quite a bit busier.

ABC News (amongst others) debunking the Tangerine Turkey in Chief's patently misleading comments. The cost of living in the US has continued to rise since he was inaugurated. I was in shock when I did a grocery shop with Mom in Texas last month. No idea how people are making ends meet.

Have YOU ever tried to cover up a mistake you've made? 99 times out of 100 it fails - and it only makes the consequences for you worse.

I imagine this is magnified significantly in the legal system.

This won't end well.
