I mean, what kind of legal action would this be exactly? Defamation? I would truly love to see it. 'They made it look like I instigated a coup during my very well recorded coup attempt.'

Should Gibb be sacked? yes, obviously. He's an abomination of basic journalistic standards. His GB News channel spreads conspiracy theory & disinformation. His Jewish Chronicle newspaper spreads invented stories. He is plainly trying to undermine the BBC so it's as bad as everything else he touches.

What you’re witnessing is a populist assault on the BBC.

This is not an institutional scandal in any meaningful sense of the word. It is an attack on public service broadcasting.

Caving on a deal that doesn’t fix health care is, and always has been, a giant betrayal of the American people.

Hold the line. Save health care. I’m a NO on anything that doesn’t extend ACA subsidies.

Ask him why so many air traffic controllers are retiring at once. Ask him if it has anything to do with Reagan firing 11K union strikers in 1981 and having to replace them all at once. Ask him how the mass firings this year will impact us the same way 40 years from now. Ask him, Jake.

From Virginia up to Maine, New Jersey out to California, and plenty of places in between, Tuesday was a great night for democracy — and an awful night for President Donald Trump. Democracy Docket loved tracking every win — and explaining what it all amounted to. But we did a lot else this week, too.

Ladies- we are now under attack too.
Republicans are trying to sneak a national abortion ban in to the budget bill.
They can’t help themselves when it comes to hurting women.
Stay strong Dems!

Pelosi was a member of the House of Representatives at the time and has a long history of prioritising legislation to combat AIDS.

A staggering two-thirds of Americans say that the country is "pretty seriously off on the wrong track," while just under a third say the country is moving in the right direction, a sentiment we clearly saw show up in the massive victories by Democrats on Tuesday.

BBC News bulletins leading on the story of an Algerian man being mistakenly released by the prison service.

Now @nickeardleybbc.bsky.social jumping on the Chris Mason bandwagon: Labour has to stop blaming austerity for the troubles with the justice system.

BBC News are playing us and taking us for fools.

BBC journalists are really dragging the whole of the BBC down.
Everyone, apparently, has questions to answer. Except the people responsible for bringing the system to its knees. Too "complex" to go into that.
