my wife, who did not grow up in an english-speaking country, has never watched an entire episode of x-files, but she'll yell this at me whenever i bring up the show because she says the bits she did watch was always just scully calling out for mulder and so now it's a core childhood memory of hers

Read this AM that the EU generated €3.8 billion of revenue in 2024 just in fines levied against US tech companies, which is more than the €3.2 billion in corporate taxes paid by public EU tech firms. 😂
