I support CFIA due to being at debrief of 2004 Fraser Valley Avian influenza outbreak that included public health officials from around the world. The experts were and are extremely concerned about it morphing from birds to humans.

BC Gov was the first to announce that we’d appeal the decision of Cowichan Tribes v. AG Canada et al. We strongly disagree with the court’s treatment of private property, but even as this case continues, we know lasting solutions are found through dialogue & collaboration with First Nations partners
What the Cowichan decision really means, and how we move forward together

@randeneneillmlabc.bsky.social The wild coho will be at the West Creek headwater wetland to spawn soon! Let's ensure that the Water Sustainability Act Section 11 Sensitive Stream designation protects their natal habitat in perpetuity!
@mark-carney.bsky.social Looks like Trans Mountain can well afford to PROTECT salmon habitat in 100s of streams along entire route from AB to Burnaby & pay the $ 292K fine for breaches of either laws and CER Conditions ie SAR for endangered snails near Sumas River and improper pump infrastructure! 😡
@mark-carney.bsky.social Why @davidebybc.bsky.social and BC say 🚫 oil pipelines 😡 In February 2022, it was initially penalized $88,000 for disturbing bird nests but the fine was later revised down to $4,000. So do 🇨🇦 laws and CER Conditions apply to oil pipelines via BC? www.msn.com/en-ca/scienc...

While the rest of us focus on fighting back against Donald Trump, Pierre Poilievre remains obsessed with Justin Trudeau. i think he was triggered by the Katy Perry/Justin on the yacht photo.
Poilievre has no policies or plan, he is using the extremist playbook.

Critical minerals have long been touted as the key to the global energy transition because they’re used in everything from EV batteries to solar panels and wind turbines.

They’re also essential to the production of military equipment.
