Former presidents, prominent Americans from both political parties gather for Dick Cheney's funeral.

Donald Trump is not in attendance because he wasn't invited.

People don't even want to see him when they’re dead.

Walking along the beach in Hobart, the Silver Gulls (Chroicocephalus novaehollandiae) were following me and just screaming non-stop. I figured they had babies hidden nearby, but I never saw the young ones. #BirdingTasmania #BirdingAustralia #gulls #seegulls

No Kelp Gulls (Larus dominicanus) in Melbourne, but 600 km (373 miles) south in Hobart, there was quite a few. They were even nesting on a flat gravel roof just below my hotel window. The common big gull of the southern hemisphere. #BirdingAustralia #BirdingTasmania #gulls #SeeGulls

They are the warning of what awaits *us* if we do not take urgent, dramatic action to reverse carbon in our one & only biosphere.

No more fossil fuels.

None.

Oh those currents and where they will go
It’s one of Australia’s worst underwater environmental catastrophes. What’s going to happen to South Australia’s vast algal bloom as summer heat warms the ocean?
