Genuinely think this coverage is worthy of formal complaint – and if the BBC doesn’t take it seriously, it should be escalated to Ofcom.

The appearance of caving to the Trump White House, when the BBC is being sued, could be disastrous for public trust.
The BBC coverage is absolutely terrible.

It leads on "sharply contested narratives"

It has a dramatic skew to the US government

It has posted the video but has failed to report on what it shows: it shows the US govt account is untrue

Journalists, please remember that repeating obviously false statements is not balance or fairness. It is actively participating in deception.

They know what they say is untrue, they do not care it is untrue.

The media know that what they repeat is untrue, they do not care it is untrue.

Their supporters know what they are told is untrue, they do not care it is untrue.

Telling the truth is not enough, unless people care about the truth.

The task for political leadership now is not just to tell the truth, but to make people care about what is true and what is not.

Thanks to Dr James Densley for telling it like it is.
The lies being spread by the Trump regime are sickening. Good to see the BBC pushing back against them with this analysis from Dr James Densley.

We’ve had this game of Cluedo since the 1970s. The ‘preparations for play’ truck no nonsense and the implements are weighty originals, save for the rope which had to be improvised. I won (Col Mustard, conservatory, lead pipe) so plainly the day job has transferable skills

I’m not doing Black Friday this year.

Nowhere in the hysterical pile-on against the BBC in the British press has anyone mentioned that BBC News now has 77 million viewers & listeners in the US and has established itself as the second most trusted news source there.

Demolishing 1 Silk Street would waste carbon and damage local character. A retrofit could save both.

We’ve objected to the plans, now it’s time to rethink how we treat our existing buildings. Why demolish when we can refurbish?

Reuse saves heritage, carbon, & character. 👉 shorturl.at/VjnpU
