I went into this album expecting it to just be boring slop from the Drake shop. What I found was a yawning chasm of mediocrity so creatively bankrupt, so devoid of passion and charisma that it terrified me on an existential level. I wish I was joking. God do I wish.

Far from a perfect action show, but as an adaptation of the early DMC games, it's pretty damn flawless. Definitely isn't the most polished, but the vibes carry hard, and sometimes that's enough to carry something over the finish line.
