I write scenes that come to my mind, place them roughly wher they could be in the script and bend the story around them. Until it's "full". So they do change. A compromise of fun and getting it done.

Vela thinks mid-term at best. The alliance doesn't really force long term plans upon people with providing all basic needs. She has to develop better thinking ad-hoc after the incident in 'Cloudgazer'.
Belle has a career goal and plans to retire, but the debt of having a cyberbody weighs heavily.

The world in 'Cloudgazer' and my other works is quite advanced. Galaxy spanning civs, advanced AIs, hyperspace travel, devestating wars. There are differences in the factions though. Some had banished AIs, some don't use hyperspace. Then there are ruins of even more advanced civs. Unknown and gone.

Generally yes. It depends a bit on the part of the galaxy though. My cast of characters so far is mostly involved with science, some more, some less. Most people do some stuff in their youth akin to half a BSc equivalents of ours. Only the determined people make it into reserach proper though.

The game I'm looking forward to the most right now. I just love the dark fantasy style with the generated poetry or epitaphs (when the chars died in Path of Achra). The dark BGs and sometimes uncanny sprites have this eerie, mysterious atmosphere that makes you want to see more of it.

The game I'm looking forward to the most right now. I just love the dark fantasy style with the generated poetry or epitaphs (when the chars died in Path of Achra). The dark BGs and sometimes uncanny sprites have this eerie, mysterious atmosphere that makes you want to see more of it.
Vela prefers red dresses, tops and hats. Purely for aesthetic reasons.
Belle wears red because her merc company "Red Dragon" features icoic red livery. Personally she prefers earthen tones in contrast to her orange-red hair.
Stealth does'nt matter much since most adversaries have IR, UV etc.

Finishing touches on the formatting of the 'Chased' pdf... just how do you stop Latex from adding these mysterious spaces... theres nothing in the code that indicates a space. It appears wether I have that line in the code or not. But it dispappears when I add a section (I dont want). 🫠 #writesky
