On my way home from a meeting in Glasgow this afternoon , I passed loads of tall fair men wearing red and white jester hats and hairy ginger Hobbity types in kilts. Everyone cheery, laughing, smiling and relaxed.

It’s been much, much colder here recently. 🥶 As a retired HT I’m glad the days of deciding when/if to close the school due to bad weather are behind me.
I can enjoy the beauty and peace of snowy days, burden free.
Sympathies with colleagues who still face those dilemmas and more.
