The Next COP Needs to Confront ‘Overshoot’
The Paris Agreement goal of limiting warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius is now all but impossible. Limiting — and eventually reversing — the damage will take some thought.

This is a fun story. What's happening is that a non-traded fund is being rolled into a publicly traded fund. On a NAV (third party marks on the underlying) basis, no losses. But the public vehicle (ticker ODBC) has a market price $2.83 below its $14.89 NAV, so the rolled-in fund gets marked down.

This penny thing is a classic example of the US doing something lots of other countries have done but making a balls if it because it’s incapable of doing things normally
THE VAULT: The penny was declared dead this week at the age of 232-years-old, courtesy of the Trump administration. Now it’s Capitol Hill’s turn to pick up the tab. Because the penny hasn’t gone quietly.
