I've also requested that Pres. Trump authorize a Federal Emergency Declaration so that the federal govt can provide resources including personnel, equipment like generators, and funds for protective measures.

I've heard others say it and I'm really feeling it too. We should definitely embrace the American flag as part of the resistance to fascism and the authoritarian government. It must stand as a symbol of decency and democracy, not what the GOP is trying to rebrand it as.
