Friend of mine (EU citizen) has son studying (for free) in an university in Prague

The son just won a 2 months internship over the summer in Athens and gets a top up of €2,000 from Erasmus as part of the EU youth mobility initiative.

Incredible how many opportunities the British youth are missing.

Except, it's not "done with the EU", as he says it is. It simply isn't!!

Labour should be much stronger on pinning stupid Brexit on grifter Farage and the fuckwitted Tories who fell for it.

Rejoining the EU would be a good solution.
Would take years of course, but every step along the way (e.g. joining the Customs Union) would provide very real benefits for the economy in the meantime.
Until now Lab have been lying about Brexit being a root cause of our economic problems.

A HUGE scandal that the scale of Russian interference is not reported by MSM.
Independent journalists do a great job but the public must help.
We all continue to pay, and suffer as a result of the damage done to Europe and to Britain's economy by Brexit.

Still "the Brexit deal" though, not "Brexit".

If he's going to really be grown up about it he'll apply to rejoin the EU as soon as they'll have us back.

Fiddling around the edges isn't enough and he knows it.

Around 26,000 of the neediest people in County Durham will have to start paying council tax next year...

About 2,400 others who already pay some council tax will lose part of their rebate.

Women and the disabled will be disproportionately affected.

Not quite what Reform UK had promised.
Council tax shock for thousands of Durham’s poorest – thanks to Reform UK
Durham will scrap full council-tax rebates, forcing 26,000 low-income working-age residents to start paying for the first time

The scale of the Brexit damage forces the less dishonest Brexiters to admit reality.

(Sunak, same paper, continues to delude himself and his readers)
(Farage would rip up any reset and plunge business into more costly uncertainty)

Almost all of the Beeb's big post-Budget interview with the Chancellor devoted to asking whether she is a liar.

Next to nothing on any of the big measures announced this week

If you look at the ridiculous case studies they dredged up & the desperate attempts to hang Reeves for ‘lying’ about the rationale behind a policy she *did not introduce*, you might work out why right-wing media is straining *not* to talk about the finer detail of her (unremarkable) budget.
