This fall session, the UCP has nothing to show for helping with what matters to Albertans.

Crowded classrooms, privatized health care, wasted money, and out-of-touch priorities show a government that isn’t working for you.

You deserve better.

I'm so tired of all this BS
The UCP are exhausting

I'm tired of the anti-science sh*t
I'm tired of the anti-vax sh*t

Every day there's a new thing for Albertans to be embarrassed about
& don't get me started on all the grifting they do for their donors

I'm just so f*cking tired of it

Alberta’s Bill 11 threatens universal public healthcare across Canada. It replaces universal care with a two-tier system. This means longer waits, higher costs for everyone, and weaker public healthcare.

The federal government must act. notwotier.ca/canadahealth...

Smith finally said it out loud...

She doesn't believe that government should be providing any services to Albertans, she believes that private companies should be used universally to provide services.

Faith groups should take care of the vulnerable.

Unfortunately, after repeatedly using time allocation motions to limit debate, Bill 11 just passed third reading in the legislature.

“It is no exaggeration to say that the passing of Bill 11 through the Alberta legislature is the biggest threat to our single-payer, universal Medicare system that we’ve ever seen. Not just for Albertans, but for all Canadians,” said Chris Gallaway executive director of Friends of Medicare.

This is the point that’s been really annoying me about Alberta’s rhetoric about separation.

It ignores that it’s not up to Alberta, as, unlike Quebec, Alberta did not join Canada, it was created by Canada and the First Nations whose treaties predate the creation of Alberta.

They seem to be breaking overcrowding records everyday in Edmonton.

Last night the RAH ED had over 100 (ONE HUNDRED!) pts waiting in its waiting room.

Just try to imagine that...

In my life, there has never been a need to “renew” my publicly funded healthcare. Governments are responsible for keeping records and assuring access. This kind of policy is an attack on the most vulnerable among us: homeless, disabled, nursing home residents, poor families, etc. For shame!

“A government does not reach for the notwithstanding clause four times in a month unless something is deeply wrong. This isn’t normal. It isn’t safe. And it isn’t democracy. Each time rights are pushed aside, a warning siren is blaring: Power is being placed above people.”
