It seems awfully telling that Republicans were unwilling to hold this hearing publicly. It’s not like the case hinged on classified information; they’re just afraid of the public hearing what Smith has to say.

This is why, in PROOF reports, I refer to lawyers by their status as counsel for Trump. We’ve a mountain of info on the circumstances under which these people were given their jobs, what Trump expects of them and what they promised him.
